Moe Valade (Curler – Delisle/Saskatoon)
Moe began his competitive curling in the early 1950’s curling in 3 Northern High School competitions. He moved on to men’s competition competing in 5 Northerns and 2 Provincials. Moe competed in most major bonspiels across Western Canada bringing home a wealth of prizes, including crests, trophies, cars, a gold nugget and cash. One of Moe’s long time competitors said he approached the game like a chess master, “He was an artist and a gentleman.”
